Honoured to receive the Hyundai Award for Excellence in Sustainability and Creative Practice with the Royal College of Art, for my research “How to Touch the Elephant”. It was truly a beautiful experience for me since I could share with the jury panel about my journey, and realised how our thoughts and ideas resonating with each other. Knowing that did help me with strengthening and continuing my research. So thank you!

I also just finished a reading performance and mapping workshop at the Heritage Art Space, in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was my first time presenting How to Touch the Elephant as Ngẫm Tượng, and also having people listening to the soil and drawing together with me. Thanks to anh Tuấn, Ngọc and Thảo and HAS team for supporting me and connecting me with the audience. And of course thanks to everyone joining with me! Hope our touch will continue and last.
Here are some impressions from the reading performance and the workshop. Was really amazed by how the sound can change the act of drawing-together and can connect us with our body, our inner, and with each other. Photos by Heritage Art Space.

I will do the reading performance again, this time in English with esea contemporary Manchester (UK)- on 22 Sept. The event is online. So hope to see everyone soon again on the site with our Elephant.
