News: I was nominated as Futures Photography Talent 2021

Hien Hoang Photography: asian food, cliches and the sexualisation of asian women. This work can be seen on the website of the 8th Triennial of Photography Hamburg, founded by Deichtorhallen Hamburg

I’m happy and honoured to announce that I was nominated as Futures Photography Talent by the curator Rasha Salti, a member of the 8th curatorial Team of the 8th Triennial of Photography Hamburg. You can find my work, “Asia Bistro” on the website of Futures photography and the 8th Triennial of Photography Hamburg, organised by Deichtorhallen Museum Hamburg. Thanks for featuring my “noodle and tofu”-babies! Check out their websites for the upcoming symposium and more forwarding positions in photography and art.

Currently, I also plan on setting “Made in Rice”, a performance-screening in outdoor in Hamburg. It will be a lovely summer night with many (of course) rice and noodle. We are now in the last steps and I will keep you posted on the screening soon. Follow my Instagram and Made.in.Rice for the latest updates.
